Discover the art of bookbinding in this hands-on workshop. Participants will learn the Secret Belgian binding method to create a one-of-a-kind hardcover book featuring beautiful exposed stitching along the spine. This unique binding technique combines durability with an eye-catching design, resulting in a handcrafted journal that's both functional and artistic.
All tools and supplies will be provided. Participants should be comfortable measuring and cutting paper with a craft blade, using an awl to puncture book board and pages, sewing with a needle and thread, and working at the pace of the class to complete their book during the workshop. Preregistration is preferred; limited walk-in tickets may be available—please call ahead.
